Hi Guys and Girls, Hope you all enjoyed the ride this weekend and that you all arrived home safely yesterday afternoon. For those that made their own way home you missed a really nice new ride to Barrydale. To Chris and Carol we wish you both a speedy recovery from your little tumble and hope that the bike is repaired soon. Just a word of advice; I strongly suggest that you inspect your air filters as they will have sucked in plenty of dust on this outing. If they are dirty replace them rather than just blow them out. You do not want a clogged filter to implode allowing the engine to suck in all the dirt trapped in the filter. You have been warned. Till next time. BMW regards, Geoff.

Thanks to you Geoff for a great trip through the Karoo. It was fun to visit the hell and I thought it's much hotter down there. The trip back via Van Wyksdorp was spectacular, a real hidden beauty, highly recommended. Thanks to all the other off-road rider for making the trip so enjoyable and relaxing, good discipline and riding skills !!

To eloborate on Geoff's comment, Replace the air filter element with a NEW one. Never ever blow an air filter element with compressd air!!! Talk to me should you wish me to eloborate on this important subject. I have a thing about airfilters. Bum in the saddle, always.
