HI, I have recently done a 2000km roundtrip no problem. The bike then rested for maybe 4 days and since then it feels like it have a slight missfire although it seems ot be idling just fine. Could incorrect chain tension have that affect?

Tony, In my most woldest,.... i can't see a correlation bwtween chain tesnion and smoothness of the engine. I would look at the engine management system. Ask one of our three fantatsic dealer to plug it intoi the diagnostics pc and see if the management system has a quick answer. My experience suggest the sparking plugs- or one of them is not in its best health. Andyman Yup that's me. Standing up in the traffic on the 1150GSA.

Start by having a look at the air filter, if your trip was dusty the flow may be inhibited. Fill up at Sasol I find their fuel to be the best. Give chain a good lube (will not cause or cure a misfire but always good to do). Go for a ride, if problem persists, I will ask Shane to give you a call. I RIDE THEREFORE I AM!
