They've replace zips n my summer jacket.  Mixed results.  It took over a month, and one pocket zip had to be re-done.

Otheres have recommended it though.

Sorry Gents have to disagree with Leather Forever, never again.  Will go with Rocksole next, they have done outstanding work on (non-biking) shoes before! Cool

We too have enjoyed the good workmanship from Rocksole.

Think before you ink.

Wanted to come to the monthly meeting tomorrow just to share past experiences with Leather Forever after this weekend's repair collection, but I've calmed down now since then and will rather forum it.

At least you can count on them - for being consistently terrible with clothing quality, after sales, repair workmanship, and last but not least, their attitude to me as their client for the past 2.5 years since I bought my full gear brand new from them.

Have given them ample time and opportunity to rectify themselves through multiple repairs (close to R2k up to date) done on this same gear due to quality issues and not abuse, but they chose to carry on like they always do, so Saturday was my last business with them and I feel obliged to share my biking experiences good and bad with fellow club members here.

I've learnt my lesson hard as a newbie:  DO NOT buy knock-off, BMW copied riding gear imported from China at a 1/3 of the price, it will cost you in the long run.

NEGATIVE RANTING OVER.

So, anybody selling size 34 Rallye 2 pants? (Managed to source a Rallye 2 jacket, and it is a great piece of gear)  Cool

I sent Rocksoles an email with my tasking request.

then delivered the work to be done.

Stitching eyes into 21 webbing straps and 43 webbing loops.

Then friday I went to collect them.

Each time the staff were very friendly and very entertaining.

The most geourgous, beutifal woman frequent this shop.

I flirted with them all and they really showed good humour.

I asked Rocksoles how it is that such delicous ladies come in droves, , a wonder of the Bo-Kaap.

The work was well done at reasonable prices.

Go visit just for the entertainment value of the visit.

In Durbanville are fantastic.  Excellent work and reasonably priced ... In fact really inexpensive.

I think they are in King St. Either that our Queen St ... Next to the tennis courts. Great with zips and repairs and just about anything you might need!

If you can dream it you can do it!

Wow - I dropped my Rallye Pro jacket there for a new main zip and velco, and my tankbag.

What professional and knowledgable service.  They understand the issues of BMW jackets (press-studs too close to the zips etc), and I also had the option of an expensive or cheap option for the zip on the tank bag (as in replace the zip or put a bigger one over it).

But he was taking orders for 2 weeks time, that's how busy they are.  Luckily I have plenty of time.
