Anyone got any leads on where I can buy SMALL containers of "heat seize grease"?

I'm busy fitting an Akrapovic full system on my 1200GS.Donford uses it,but don't sell it.

Try Copper-slip, good stuff, not sure of the spelling. Any good engineering shop will have stock.

If you are in the South give me a call and we can apply some to the can. 083 463 4421

Hi Rene,

I'm planning on using copper-slip on the lambda sensor threads.Lock-tight on all other threads. The grease is for sliding the exhaust sections together. If I can't find the correct grease as recommended, I'll use copperslip instead.

Cheers

Hi Renier. Before my retirement I worked in the oil industry. Lots of high pressure and extreme heat equipment. Copperslip and Never-Seez were the most commenly used anti seize lubricants. Both will suit your requirement.

Copperslip available from all Midas and Brights Stores. I use this whenever I use nuts and bolts.  Grew up with it.
