A GPS and a spirit of fun and adventure is all you need. I'm picking up a BMW club badge from the club. will mount it on a metal backing and then secrete into a cache with a note instructing only bike riders to move it and to place it in another cache. They then follow the instruction to post that new cache on this topic on the forum so someone else can go find it and keep it moving. Caches I've recently visited:- GCVOAK TF1 Dwarskersbos GCMYZC Limiet Uikyk - Basinskloof GCTA5J Ca James' Heldeberg Nature reserve GCGZAR Old knysna road GCZZ3F Touws river bridge (George) GCR7GW Shangrila - Bettys Bay GCRP1N Pear shaped or round- Aurora GCZ68R Knowledge is Power- near Geoff's house in Bothasig GCVY7G Secret Wings Mosselbaai log onto the international site www.geocaching.com. register -it's free- and then start searching, takes a while to learn to use the site, but soon you get the hang and can do a search for a cache in the area you are going to. Most gcer's do some good research on the area where they place their cache and you learn quite a bit about the lore or the historic value of the cache site. Or you can make up a cache and go hide it. Carl Nepgen n I hid a cache up in Bainskloof in November 06. If you are struggling drop me a line & I'll gladly talk you through. When you find the cache you must log your visit in the logbook in the cache, and are allowed to remove a trinket or item from the cache as long as you place a new one back. So be sure to take along a small item someone will find useful and worth the while of searching for the site. I always take a kiddies thing and a Dad's thing - toy and a tool. Follow the geocacher's code and look after the site. Have lots of fun and GET OUT THERE. Andyman
