Genadendal Ride

Hi Folks
We have a day ride to Genadendal via the backroads
The Genadendal Ride is organised by Offroad Adventure Motorcycle Club and all are welcome to ride. All bikes are welcome as long as they are 650cc and above.
The ride is on Saturday and will use as many backroads and gravel as possible.
The route will be from Durbanville to Hermanus, Genadendal, Villiersdorp, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and back to Durbanville.
Date: 20th October
Meet: Durbanville Caltex (at Hospital) or meet along the way ..call to confirm
Time: 7am
Grading: 1
Distance: 500km
Backup: None
Gravel: As much as possible
Cost: Nil but you will need cash for breakfast and lunch

Fantastic idea and I would have loved to join, BUT, why did you wait till only now to tell us ? Unfortunately already have other plans (rugby, party, etc.) for Saturday. Please warn us about such trips a couple of days beforehand next time. I'm always looking for such trips and friends ...

Sorry I can't make it this time - I am working all weekend unfortunately. Please post any other rides you guys have here.
For those that have not met the Offroad Adventure chaps - they are a fine bunch - just like us except they have a variety of different bikes. We rode with them to the West Coast on Geoff's tour, and we soon realised that we share the same values, riding priorities, and value systems (i.e. we 'clicked'). So, if you are looking for a ride tomorrow, don't be shy.
