Ok here we go!

A bunch of us are leaving on Saturday morning at 08h30 from the Gecko restaurant in Wellington main street.

If you want breakfast or coffee I have arranged for them to open early so get there at say 07h45, rsvp so I can give them the numbers.

Please bring your tent, mattress, sleeping bag, a little fold-up chair and some casual clothing for the evening, this can all go in the bakkie once you get to Wellington.

I will stop in some village so you can stock up on your drinks for the evening which we will store in the cooler box on the bakkie.

Day 1

Wellington to Swartberg nature reserve, Die Hel or Gamka’s Kloof you pick your favourite, it just is that they are all the same place. Leaving Wellington and working our way up and down many mountain passes (five on gravel) ensures that we spend the night under the stars in a valley that was upon till recently only accessible by foot. A 600 gram T bone will put the grumbling stomach to sleep but whom is going to stop the snoring. Put your tents far apart!

Day 2

If you thought we used up all the passes getting there watch this space, we do many on the way back plenty on gravel and no we do not return the same way! Lunch will be had in a Texas look alike bar and the customary parting beer at a wooden deck in Wellington.

Price R570.00
