Freak wind gust: Parked bike blown off it's side stand.

I have never heard of an Adventure being blown off its sidestand by a freak gust of wind.
Happened to me on Sunday morning, 6th October, in Franschhoek main road.
According to the experts, big bikes can and have been blown off their side and centre stands.
Seems the best precaution is to park with your sidestand downwind. This should give the bike its best stability, if the wind remains constant.
Oh, and keep your insurance paid up as Murphy will change that wind direction unexpectantly.
