I'm stuck. Again. Flat front tyre. Anyone close to Westlake Business Park that can help out? I've got the skills, but not the bleddie tools. Otherwise I'll hang around at work for another hour or so, waiting for Lance to rescue me, but he will have to come from Blouberg side and he's not home yet (think he's on his bike on the way home).

Rather now than tomorrow morning.
Sigh. And I thought my puncture / flat tyre curse had disappeared. I'm starting to lose count now. I think I'm on number 7 or 8 (in less than 2 years). Can't see any offending item, so it might be a torn valve again. The tyre is new.
Lance is on his way to help out, so all will end well.
Time for the slime in your tubes......
Works a treat in my "Plastic bikes".
Slime would have helped for one of my punctures (a small thorn through a soft T63 tyre), but not the rest (sharp stone, branch, nail, torn valve, etc). This "puncture" looked like a sidewall cut, but there was no cut on the tyre; only a slit along the tube. We took the tyre entirely off the rim and made sure there were no spikey bits (in tyre or the rim). Slime would also make the whole process so messy.
I managed to pinch the first new tube. Note to future self: do not slightly inflate before inserting tube. Same as with a mountain bike, it doesn't work out for me. Others will swear by it, but I've never pinched a tube from inserting it completely flat.
FYI: Valve-pullers for the win!! I'm glad we had one. We would have killed our fingers trying to get that valve through the hole in the rim.
Aai Zanie! What is it with you and the flat tyres!?
Shame man. You must be SO gatvol and moedeloos.

And now this tune will be going around in your heads all day!
You're welcome! Hahahahaha!
