I bought and fitted a set of 1200 lumen lights from Extreme Lights and fitted them to my F800GS.

I just (as in fitted them on Sunday and had them connected yesterday), added these to my F800, and I got them from Roodt Griesel 082 440-5250 @ West Coast Parts.  

He was so kind, he actually opened their business on Saturday, just so that I could get them on the same day.  I wanted black it was on back order at some of the other vendors.

It looks great and let me tell you, these 1000 lumen lights are BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT, I was blinded just trying to set their height (in daylight) yesterday.  The rugged appearance also suits the F800!

Thanks Tarryn. Did they mount and connect them as well, or did you get them hooked up at a dealer?

I mounted it myself, using Motorradical brackets which I bought from Chris, Flying Brick, and which attach/hang from the indicators.  

My neighbor connected it for me (I refuse to fiddle with anything electrical) using fitting instructions provided by Roodt (from whom I bought the lights).

If you're in the Northern Suburbs, or Southern if you want to travel that far, he can help you to.  He is assisting Craig at the moment now too with an issue on his spot lights.

Thanks for all the info. Just ordered the lights from Roodt and should be getting them tomorrow :) .

I think I will probably mount the spots using the mounts next to the existing lights...will see how that works. I'm definitely not going to fiddle with the electrics so I think I'm just going to pop in at Donford seeing as it's closest.

Well done Taryn. Yes, these lights actually saved my life on a trip to Verneukpan last year, and 100s of times in traffic. You can't go without.

Yes I did, thanks. Had them installed last week.  The guys at Extreme Lights sorted it out.
