I am thinking about installing upper crash bars on my F800GS Adventure and that got me wondering why BMW never installed crash bars similar to the ones found on the 1200 GS Adventure which cover the upper fender / tank area.
It seems that there are not too many options out there yet for the F800GSA, but so far I've found bars from the following manufacturers:
Rockfox - (local which is a plus)
Hepco & Becker
SW-Motech
I'd be keen to hear other members thoughts.
Thanks Danie,
Do you have the F800GS or GSA? The GS bars won't fit on the GSA.
I have a 2011 model, but it might be worth to check with Johan from Wild@heart....

Thanks, I'll check them out.
I've checked wild@heart a few weeks ago and they don't have anything to fit the 800gsa

Yep, I was there today and they dont have anything to fit the GSA. Looks like its between the Hepco & Becker bars and the Rockfox bars for me.
Nice!
Thanks for sharing the pics Gareth. Will be checking these guys out for mine.
Hi Gareth, at which shop did you buy them? Struggling to find them for mine.
Humphrey - you can contact Mike Adendorf at 072 461 8472 or mike@rockfox.co.za
Humphrey - we stock these, and can fit...
Great stuff. The one I saw when I was there looked different to this one. I'll come through this afternoon.
Just fitted these which I got from

Easy to fit and made for the GSA to fit the OEM bottom bars.
Nice! How's the spacing between the radiator? Are you able to post a few pics of your own.
I'm at Flyingbrick contemplating between that and SW Motech one.
