F650GS Fuel pump cracked

G'day all

The top of my bike's fuel pump assembly has cracked, and fuel is being pushed up and is pooling in the top (under the seat). This is apparently a very common issue with the 200-2004 650GS Single / Dakar. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I have to replace the entire assembly?

Seems like a very dangerous problem that'll have to be repaired.

Hi Afrikaan, i Have a New Fuel Pump Electric available.According to Max BMW website it will fit F800S/ST as well as 650GS.My part nr = 16147708312 which was replaced by 1614770778 and then by 16148523262

Thanks, JP, but I'm looking for a much older assembly, for the Dakar and single (pre-2004) 650GS. Found one at Motorworks UK, which is on its way to me.
