Metro Air Force Blaster http://bikedepot.net/memoairfobl.html I want one... it's a real pain drying my bike by hand! I'm planning on buying leaf blower to do the job, again welcome to the 3rd world! Products like these are impossible to get when in South Africa.

For that money you can buy a decent compressor. Just use a nuematic nozzle and you got a machine that can do more. Also that type of current for that period can damage the battery - bend the plates.

Ahem Girls, My domestic Vacuum cleaner has a blow as well as suck orifice, and I ben using it for yonks to blow finicky places on my bikes dry. And it is filtered air and it is warm air and the small nozzle reducer adds pressure. Go look in your cleaning cupboard, you porbably also got one. It jus' the Yanks like to have an item for every activity.... Andyman Yup that's me. Standing up in the traffic on the 1150GSA.

best way to clear the water and junk after you have cleaned your bike is to take it for a ride....first the engine temp will ellimanate any moisture that could lie dormant in the sparkplug cap etc and could cause drama later....take her for a ride..all the water and moisture will either blow off of the heat will evaporate it. The blower may even blow the water further into the electrics etc..

A compressor is too strong and the pressure can force water into areas you do not want it which could include bearings, seals and your chain! I used a compressor until I was told this by MX'ers who wash bikes weekly. They use to find water under seals especially in the swing-arm area and linkages which all bikes have and all this does is cause damage and pre-mature failure of these parts. I now have a Blaster motorcycle drier, hand-held model, and it is awesome. No need to use a chamois anymore as there are no more water marks. Basically it is an industrial hair-dryer with filtered air so NO chance of scratching your Motorcycle while drying it off and you can use it to dry basically anything! It has rubber attachments so they will not scratch anything. Some Motorcycle shops use the bigger ones in their wash bays. Best invention since the Leatt-Brace! Regards, Paul
