I did the intro to offroad for riders in Jan and used ALL the stuff I learned at the course on the Stilbaai trip. The course turned a trip that could have been a nightmare in one of the most memorable experiences ever. I figured that the ultimate reward would be if Vanessa and I could do this stuff together. Vanessa's nerves frayed and fears flooded in as we arrived at Nelsons Creek for the rider and pillion intro to off-road riding. Again Leon, Lourens, Johan and Tracy gave us so much more than just knowledge and skills. We watched in absolute awe as couples who started out like two sumo wrestlers trying to win a bout, eventually became a perfectly synchronised orchestral movement by the time the day drew to a close. Johan and Tracy both recognised the need for extra attention and in no time had managed to build Vanessa's confidence. Geoff, your presence and encouragement this morning was, as always an inspiration. Your selfless effort in arranging and co-ordinating these events is testimony to your love of the game and the community you serve. Vanessa and I would like to encourage especially rider pillion combinations to attend at least one of these courses, we know you will just keep on going back. We will... Hey Mike, Just the look on you face @ Stillbaai said it all, you were having a ball. I am so pleased that Vanessa like Jean benefitted so much from the experience. And those instructors, poetry in motion. How is that 1200? Ignore opinions, heed facts. Feet on the pegs, always.

Think before you ink.

Trust is the most valuable asset.

I have the rest of my life to get old.

The Pillion course is a MUST DO course, it helps the pillion enormously which in turn benifts the rider. Jane and I did the course and I wanted to do it again, but was helping Jane get her bike back from the repair shop. Well done to all.
