Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

Here's a nice venue for a day trip with a mix of tar and gravel, stunning scenery and some magnificent protea farms at the top of the Groot Winterhoek mountains. It's an out and back ride offering hiking, camping and self catering accommodation at both Cape Nature and Beaverlac. A hike from the end of the road to De tronk and from there to De Hel reveals one of the biggest rock pools in SA, fed by the "24 riviere" via an impressive waterfall.
