Coast to Karoo accident (2)

Rene & Jean Verhulp had a slight bump against a car on the way up Swartberg pass yesterday causing their bike to topple over (1st gear not more than 5kph) unfortunately Jean landed badly on her hip causing some damage. She was kept over in hospital last night in CT for observation and for the specialist to make the correct diagnosis today.
We wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries.

Hi Rene, Tell Jean that she must remember the Sutherland trip. All the best to the lady. Hope she will be home soon.

First and foremost, Jeannette is home and life is almost back to normal. Jean has been diagnosed with a cracked pelvis and that means 2 weeks in bed. That's O K, I'm happy with that, it could have been a lot worse.
Tx to one and all for your concern, prayers and well wishes, combined these have given us an easy ride.

Hey Rene and Jean
Missed you guys in Sutherland on Saturday night. Really hope Jean gets better quickly - its going to be a really huge pile of dishes to wash by the time she is up and about - maybe take aways is an option. Seriously though - Get well soon!
