Hi I'm going to a wedding in Franschhoek (Allee Bleue Wine Estate) junction of R310 and R45, and need to find cheap accommodation close by. Any suggestions? Thanks.
There are so many problems in this world. Luckily there's a wristband available for almost all of them.

I always use Budget getaways, think they are awesome. Little Willow Brooke, Franschhoek Cloud, I stayed here one weekend with the missus. If it's only you or you and your better half I would recommend this place. http://www.budget-getaways.co.za/ It's small but cosey and they only have one cottage with one double bed (so don't share with a mate!) Close to center of town too.

Hi Steven My son and his girlfried stayed at Paradise Stables (Tommy's Kaia) last year and loved it. They are also listed on the Budget Getaways website. See Tracey's post above for link to the website.

Hi cloud, This place is about 2km's out of town - wooden cabin in the woods, next to a large pond. There are a few cabins and rates are from R100 pppn. http://www.franschhoek.org.za/sleep/view/244 Spent a weekend there last year and enjoyed it thoroughly...but maybe it was the wiggly bits over the pass that made it so good ;-). Cheers, Bruce
