Calling a ride
Hi All
What is the protocol for calling an unofficial day ride from time to time. Sometimes one just decides that a 'ride tomorrow morning' would be nice, but they do seem to pop up few and far between. I would imagine that there are some out there who like me want to get out and do a fun ride to a cool spot for a decent breakfast and then track back to be home before the end of the day.
If they do exist, where do I locate details on the club site.

You can post on the forum if you want to do a ride. For example like Jacques did with the fossil ride.

Best is to do it a couple of days in advance reason being not all people are very active on the forum all the time.
Hi Allan. Call a ride whenever you want, I do the Fossill calls for all the old toppies on pension or for those who have the time to slip away from work on Thursdays. Normally not a very long ride but I have lately had complaints that the rides was to short. Will try something longer in the new year. As this is not a club organized ride, it will be for everyone's personal responsibility. Please ensure that you make that clear on this forum when inviting the ride to secure the club or forum from any responsibility.
