I'll be leading this ride
I'll be leading this ride on Sunday. We'll leave the Engen meeting point at 8am. We'll go left at the lights and onto Plattekloof Road until the roundabout where we turn onto the M13 Durbanville Road. Once through Durbanville (past the racecourse), we'll get onto the R302 Wellington Road. Turn right onto the R312 past Fisantekraal and eventually turn right onto the R44 which will take us past Fairview Wine Estate. At T-Juntion, left onto the R45. A short bit through Paarl, before we turn right onto the R301. The R301 is a great road which will eventually bring us to the intersection of the R45 (the entrance to the Berg River Dam). Turning left, we'll head towards Franschoek where we'll shortly come upon Goederust on our right hand side. After breakfast, I'm sure there'll be a few riders who take a run over the Franshoek Pass. GOEDERUST...Great! Ronel & I placed a geocache in the resturant a few years ago. Now you guys have no excuse to start geocaching, you don't even need a GPS for this specific one.

thanks Charles.
There are so many problems in this world. Luckily there's a wristband available for almost all of them.

You can get into town -
You can get into town - just not via the M3/Hospital bend. Go in on the M5 then duck off N2 then main road. Or N1. Website Administrator [http://honeybadger.net Honey Badger IT Services]

Hi Frances The venue is
Hi Frances The venue is booked in advance so moving it on such short notice is not practical. There will be plenty more breakfast runs. You should have volunteered as a marshall on Sunday - then the road would have been yours :). I am marshalling up to Blue Route, and Allan ShadedGS is up to Perdekloof, and I forget who else in in that vicinity... Website Administrator [http://honeybadger.net Honey Badger IT Services]

Those of us that live in
Those of us that live in the Southern Suburbs will be imprisoned at home on Sunday due to the Argus. Any thoughts on moving this to next weekend to accommodate us, or am I the only one affected by this? Thanks. Frances.
