BMW 1200 GS 2007 Key

Hi

Can you please let me know if the 2007 Key has a chip in it. i have the fibre/Plastic copy which starts the bike. Need to make a copy.

Would appreciate

Hi Randy.

 

Yes, all R 1200GS have chips in their keys, the easy way to tell is if the sides of the key are flat and the key cutting is in the middle of the key then it's got a chip in it.
