Hi, I was on the beginners offroad course at Nelson's Creek a couple of weeks ago and really learned a lot there. But now I am eager to test my new knowledge out. So my question is if anyone knows of some offroad tracks that one can go and ride. I know the club organizes a lot of trips but sometimes that "need" to go and play just grabs you at the strangest times!! Regards, Danie.

I am in Durbanville, but if you know of something a little wider, do tell.

Also from Durbanville, keen to find out if there is a "playground" (light tracks or anything) close by. Funny, a day like yesterday, driving to the chemist to pick up something trivial for the wife (would not have happened by car); anyway on the way back you obviously take a huge detour. I was constantly looking for a sidetrack, just to stand up a bit and enjoy. Kobus

Andyman sommer stands up in the traffic! I know what you mean - I have a 2km tweespoor along the river near my house, and when I am coming home from that direction I hop the pavement and dodge the bollards to make use of it.

Looks like I have work to do, I know most of the backroads in these areas. From Melkbos where I live I often backroad up through Durbanville. Lets see if I can set up a lekka ride. I RIDE THEREFORE I AM!

Do you maybe have some of these routes on your GPS? If you can export and send the trip logs it will also help.

I'm the same. No GPS - have to memorize maps... Of course, the problem is I have no memory. Uh... whats this thread about again?
There are so many problems in this world. Luckily there's a wristband available for almost all of them.
