Bike recovery
Hi All at Club Management
If the club trailer or for that matter any other recovery trailer is available as from now, I avail myself to assist our club members in need over the festive season when I am available. I will be homebound almost most of the time except when I take my lovely Marida out for the day.
Please advise where I can get a trailer. I have a safe place toe keep it for the time being. I only have a 2 x 4 bakkie and will not be able to do the DAKAR and SAND FARIE stuff but are willing to come and assist on good off road sections. Obviously at your own expense account.

I do have a trailer (Easy Loader) that I can make available but I am only back in SA on 23 Dec 2015. The trailer is currently in Somerset West.

Fortunately I have the assistance of my very young friend who recently became the owner of a spanking White GSA LC Eric PRETORIUS who also offered to assist in this project. Thanx Eric. I will certainly call on you when I get a call out.
To date I have unfortunately not had any offers for a trailor except your one which will only become available by 23/12. So, if the sh&t hits the fan, we will hopefully be able to make some or other plan.
The Club's Brass has not yet sanctioned my offer as they are probably all off line on well deserved rests.
Forum readers must please note that this offer is limited for registered and fully paid up members for the cost of my personal expenses. Non members will have to dug out the cost af a Breakdown Service or Dealer call out.

Just Curious; What has happenned to BMW ON CALL ?? supposed to assist free of charge first three years from new registration and in my time as a Dealer the service was available to older BMW M/Bikes (more than three Years) but at the cost of the owner. BMW ON CALL number 0860 600 777 Number should be under seat.
If insured with BMW Insurance you allso have (had?) on Call service included Read your Policy Document to see all the Benefits ! The Three year Clause does not Apply on this benefit as long as your Insurance is current.

It appears as if there is enough assistance from all over, but just in case anybody needs a trailer I will take mine to Swellendam. If anybody needs any (bike related) help in that part of the world they can contact me on 07six six16 0one68 (De Molen's number as I'm terrible with carrying my phone while on break).
