My week will be as follows:

Wednesday to Thursday - Seminar
Friday to Sunday - National rally in Clocolan (includes day rides with Jan Staal Du Toit)
Monday - Ride to Sanipass
Tuesday - Ride to Maclear and join BMW EC Club ride guys for the night
Wednesday - Ride back home.
Yes, I know that I will be missing so much along the way but that is all that time allows for.
We look forward to you joining us along the way Charl. Ride safe, dress warm and we hope top see you at Tsitsa Falls!!
If all goes to plan I'll see you there.
p.s Called them yesterday just to bring them in the loop, but made it clear I was not part of your group.
I didn't want my plans to effect your arrangements with them in anyway.
No problem Charl.....Adie and Angie are a lovely couple.........you will be part of us regardless.
Hey Charl, What exactly are you doing to Cloud, he will be totally confused for the entire week end. Wish I could join you on this one. I will be at the Fest with my son Ian. ride safe

Ry Veilig en geniet.
Enjoy and we want a trip report with lots of picture. (even if it's all tar)
Enjoy the ride with your son.
What a privilege that must be....
Thank you Charl,
It sure is, To be able to partake in a hobby/sport with one of your siblings is a wonderful experience, we also ride well together, that also helps.
My wish is that every parent is in a position to share in an activity with one of their own on a regular basis.
With a heavy heart I turned my GS away from Lesotho and headed for Bloemfontein....
We were totally rained out last week in Clocolan, Saturday it rained so hard that even the stunt show of the rally was limited to burnouts. By Saturday evening the main tent was under water and the Sunday morning service was attended while standing in water inside the main tent.
So I made the call that ridding solo through Lesotho wouldn't be the best choice and to see Lesotho in the rain wouldn't be as beautiful as coming back and doing it another time.
That said, the ride back to Cape Town following a Hayabusa and a ZX10 was interesting to say the least.
I'm sure that most cars we passed were very surprised to see a fully loaded GS on the tail of two supper bikes ridding with a purpose to get to their destination.
I was very impressed with my Heidenau K60. since it was down to 40% I decided to ride it finished, but when I got home yesterday afternoon I still have +- 20-25% left of the tyre.
Ah well Lesotho will just have to wait for next year when the weather is normal again.
Rest assured it was Cloud who had been praying for all that rain - just to spite your trip because he could not join you!
