Some time ago Dixon Batteries were selling a small little trickle charger for bikes and it was sold out like mad. I enquired today but they have been out of stock now for some months as the supplier stopped importing.

Anybody have some advice on a similar product( not the extra expensive BMW one).

The one I have seen is about the size of 20 cigarette box.

I am at present using an OPTIMATE.

What's wrong with the Optimate?  That's what I use.

Hi If you need the Optimate charger which is probably the best on the market value for money and what it does. I supply them from Battery Clinic Goodwood. price from R 600 for the Optimate 2 to R 1500 for the Optimate 6. Also recommended for BMW bikes.

Hi Charles.

Nothing wrong with mine but a friend is looking for the small one but the one BMW used to sell is quite expensive.

I bet he will have to go for the Optimate option.

Optimate is proudly South African, made in China. Their offices are in Pinelands near the Sunrise circle behind the police site . Can't recall the name of the complex though, Good guys.

I was looking for the Optimate 3+ in Bloemfontein, but no company stock them. I have to order it online for about R850 plus courier costs.

The CTek is too expensive for me as is the BMW one ( R1800 this morning).

So I got the NOCO Genius 1100EU for R775 from Autozone. It is working good. Proudly designed in USA and made in China https://no.co/g1100
