Advise on noise at Speedo Cluster

Hi Guys

I am the new guy that just joint today. I need some advise. I've got a F800GS. Every time i ride through a dip or hump in the road  there is a " clik,clik" noise in front at the cluster unit. Everything is tightened.

Do you maybe know what it can be?

Welcome to the forum/Club Morne.

It can be a couple of things. Best advice is to let it be checked out. In which area do you stay? There is a couple of good independent BMW mechanics if you don't want to take it to the dealers to be checked out.

Are you sure the noise is not coming from your front disks. Try and rattle them backwards and fore wards (not side to side) and see if you hear a similar clacking sound.

.and then you can CAREFULLY cable-tie the disk(s), cut off ANY excess cable tie, and then go for a test ride through a dip, and if all is quiet, then it is the disks, which are designed to float...

Then Do remove the cable ties..
