Hi all please have a look at this event and let me know if you need more information:

Adventure Bike & Co

If you have seen an Adventure Bike and Co poster you may be wondering what it’s all about. Well, together with Killarney International Raceway, Henk Kotzee has been working on an Enduro Park style track specifically designed for Dual sport bikes of all shapes and sizes. The aim is to offer this not only as a training facility but also to adventure bike dealers as well adventure style product launches.

The 28th of April 2018 will be the official launch of the track together with the Adventure Bike and Co event which will give you the opportunity to not only come and see the track but ride it for the first time. Together with the on-track fun we will also have exhibitors from many of the dealers you may already know as well as some new ones. There will be entertainment for the whole family so you don’t have to leave anyone at home. Kids quad bikes as well as some paintball will be available keeping everyone entertained. Gates will open at 09:00 and the entry to the enduro track will be open from 10:00. There will be no gate charge to enter Killarney and you will only need to buy a ticket for R200 if you wish to ride the enduro track.

The enduro track is open to all road legal adventure bikes and will consist of a host of obstacles and challenges which you can use to put your riding skills as well as your bike’s skills to the test. The complete length of the track is almost 3kilometers and each obstacle also has an “easy-out” option for the first round after which you can tackle it on the second, third and fourth loop. We will have instructors on the day for most of the obstacles whether for some help or some moral support. The basic obstacles will be placed all around the track, from simple and easy challenges to riding hoops and berms to tyre walls and some single track ruts to name a few.

So, how can you join us on this exciting first of kind day? Anyone with a road legal adventure or dual sport bike is welcome. If you are happy to take your bike off-road, we are happy to have you ride. Unfortunately we cannot allow Quad bikes or off-road bikes on the day. The track will be well marked to indicate all obstacles to allow you the opportunity to avoid anything you may not be up to tackling on the day.

We will have a skills challenge for all that would like to participate which will take place at 13:00 on the day. Here you can show case your skills and riding for the spectators. This challenge will consist of slow technical exercises with some brake slides and barrel races as the finale which will make for great fun for the riders and the people only brave enough to watch.

As far as food and drink goes, we will have a full bar provided by Tipsy Gipsys as well as lots of shade for the spectators and food vendors to keep you fuelled and happy.

Come join us on the day, even as a spectator, we have some great viewing spots of the track where all the action and excitement can be seen
