As per the BMW Motorrad website : The Advanced off-road riding course is just that - advanced! It is compulsory that participants successfully complete the "Weekend Off-Road Course" first and are absolutely sure that they have mastered all techniques and skills taught there, before attempting the Advanced Course. This is a very challenging course, which teaches the salient points of the craft and will delight experienced off-roaders. Jan du Toit and Gerhard Strydom will be the instructors for this course and it will be the same 2008 Advance Course ( www.countrytrax.co.za/courses.advanced.php). Over the three days participants will be evaluated on the following : - Rider skills - Fitness - Safety Consciousness - Environment Consciousness - Camaraderie - Alertness - “Destructive riding nature” Camel Packs, Motorcross type Off-road boots and knobbly tyres are compulsory. Participants must arrive on the Thursday evening. The course starts after supper !!
