Accomodation Suggestions

I am planning a trip to the Eastern Cape at the end of the year. There are only three fixed Place/Date points so far and I would like some suggestions of routes and accomodation on those, please? The fixtures at this stage are: 22 Dec 07 Leaving Cape Town to wherever 23 Dec 07 wherever to wherever 24 Dec 07 leaving from wherever to Port Alfred 25 Dec 07 Port Alfred 26 Dec 07 Leaving Port Alfred to wherever 27 ? 28 ? 29 ? 30 Dec 07 Leaving wherever back to Cape Town Any suggestions will be appreciated!!

Hi Geoff, No I don't have one yet, but if it means that I need one in order to get to the interesting places, I can put one on my Christmas Shopping List - From Dirk to Dirk ;-) As far as the on/off road is concerned, I am proficient on the black stuff but not as confident on the dirt. I always used to have roadbikes and the odd XT here and there, but in those days the bikes weren't nearly as pricey as today and me not nearly as responsible...

Hi Dirk In May the wife and I did 5 000 km in 9 days, turning a St Lucia. Other than a rough idea of where we would like to turn we did not plan two hours ahead. Each afternoon, as the sun started setting, we looked for the nearest B&B. It was absolutely stunning. I am however wondering if you will get accomodation that easily in peak season. :( Charles, can you possibly put a link here to the "Infinity Tour". I think it is on the "old" forum. Thanks Dirk, only one word of caution - once this bug bites, you WILL do many more of these tours. :) Geniet dit!!
