I saw a thread on FB around useful upgrades to bikes and the one that jumped out at me was the fitting of 90 degree valve stems.
It has always been a major hassle getting access to the valves to check and lower tyre pressures and then pump up again after being off road.
Seems like a no-brainer next time I swap out my tyres but is there any downside to this?
we sell a FITTED flatter and LIGHTER 90 degree valve stem, that can be fitted to TUBELESS tires (without TPS sensors, obviously).
What we do NOT recommend is riding with a DETACHABLE 90-degree valve stem adaptor in place - some try this, and I cannot think of what would happen is the DETACHABLE 90-DEGREE VALVE STEM CAME OFF AT 120KM/H, given the wheel revolutions involved!
Picture of the lighter (allow) 90 degree stems attached.
Note: we recommend having the wheel BALANCED when you fit them, and although obvious, they should face AWAY from the side-stand, so that when the bike is on the side-stand, they face up slightly, rather than....down!
Cheers
