I have already paid the fees and the accomodation at the Whitehouse Inn.

I initially requested to ride in group 4. However this being my first trip I would

like to be moved to group 3 just to be a bit more comfortable if that is in

Good morning

Visiting Sutherland is one of my bucket list items. I finally have a big enough bike after 3 years of riding. A month ago I   spoke to Wouter and he suggested I join his group. But I have had trouble finding accommodation in town for just me (unless I want to pay R1000 for a cottage for 3 people). Are there any people who don't have accommodation yet and who are interested in sharing? Or is there any spare bed in accommodation that is already booked, that I can share? I don't snore

Looking for accommodation for 2 people. Sent messages to Blue Moon, Alpha and Hotel - awaiting responses. I am working through the Sutherland list, however if anybody knows of other options or cancellations or possibility of sharing if you have spots open in houses, please let me know.

Guys, I would like to find out the itinerary of the start point don't need to know the route, that can be a surprise, but being a first timer, I am a little in the dark here as to how this Sutherland weekend works, do we all go to Sutherland on the Friday and then drive around there, or do we leave on the Sat from CT somewhere, which I still don't know where and drive through to Sutherland. and only overnight the Sat night. please assist whoever can enlighten me many thanks Craig.

Closer to the time, you will get an email with the details of when and where to meet for the ride.  Each group will meet at a different location, so that there isn't confusion.

The ride starts in Cape Town early on Saturday morning, and returns on Sunday.  Typical departure points are the Engen Winelands 1-Stop, Engen in Plattekloof, Swartland 1-stop etc (you will notice a predisposition for Wimpy coffee or a quick breakfast).

Typical departure times are around 8am, with some meeting earlier to meet and greet and have breakfast.

Departure from Sutherland on Sunday morning is a bit more leisurely (and the cold means that some bikes battle to start (so bring your emergency jump-start battery if you have one)).
