CHRISTMAS IN FEBRUARY 2016 CLUB KICK START function CANCELLED!!
As per the last couple of years, the committee decided to avoid the year end rush and have our Christmas lunch in February. This year we will call it the Kick Start function.
So, herewith your invitation to join fellow club members for an informal picnic at a very prominent venue, relax in a beautiful garden on a wine estate as central as possible, hoping for as many members to attend.
Here are the details:
Date: 21 February 2016
Time: Arrive from 12:00 for a welcoming drink
Lunch: Picnic style lunch will be served from 13:00
Venue: Zevenwacht Wine Estate (see www.zevenwacht.co.za)
Dress Code: Picnic style / neat casual
The Meal: Farmhouse Basket for Two / Single
Farmhouse Vegetarian Basket for Two /Single
Refreshments: The club will sponsor a limited amount of red and white wines & the non alcoholic welcoming drinks. Any other drinks will be for your own account.
The club will also pay the venue- & set-up fees
Costs: R400.00 per couple sharing a picnic basket and R220.00 per single basket.
Kiddies basket: R60.00 - suitable for kids up to 10 years
What to bring: Please bring along your own picnic blanket and cushions for a relaxed afternoon. Wooden benches and tables also available in the picnic area.

Hi fellow club members
Please book your space for this kick start function.This lunch date with fellow riding buddies promises to be an afternoon of getting spoilt and relaxing in a beautiful garden. Catching up after the festive season and telling stories of rides and places visited over the last couple of weeks. Maybe hear about new places to go and visit.....definately will be informed about all the interesting places the club will take you this year.
Bring your partner this round as we don't meet all the partners on the rides. Dress casually and join us for some good food and wine. Don't forget your picnic blanket. The picnic baskets are decorated in gourmet style and sufficient.

Wow, now this is sad indeed.
Sorry, but Iam just doing so much international travel already this eyar...
And have another trip to Dubai soon, so trying to keep balance at home.
so much stuff to do.
But if it will swing the balance, Annie n I will come- we may just rent a room....
Indeed Andy, great Club initiative that deserved more. I am a new member and was looking forward to bringing better half along and meet like minded people in what promised to be a real conducive environment. Pity but hopefully club management persevere and find a next suitable date. Cheers
