The forums on http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=16073.msg249910#msg249910 has really gone crazy. Here are some photos to clarify a few points that were raised, I will post this link there. The first two photos were taken from the M5 off ramp, you can clearly see the tyre marks going over the barrier line, the truck had not even hit the dip in the road yet, so was that too fast or not? The Toyota was in the left lane when the truck rolled and the side of the container fell on it, see the scrape marks for about 20 metres to the concrete barrier line. 11 22 The next three photos show that the container did NOT fall off the truck, it was secured. 33 44 55 The next two photos are just a little extra info, the Metro crane picked up the end of the container and they fastened a cable from a winch to drag the wreck out from under it. 66 Except for two small problems. Firstly this bakkie would not start, it had to be jump started from a Metro doctor's car. Then the winch was not strong enough so the bakkie was removed and the fire engine's winch was used. 77
