2006 GS Adventure Shaft Universal Joints

Apologises if there is already a thread covering this. I've just stripped my bike for paint and found one of the UJ's on the shaft is notchy. Motorrad Boksburg has quoted me R9600 for a new shaft. Surely you can get the UJ's separately or someone here rebuilds them. Anyone know?

Welcome to our wonderful country and to the club forum. I do recall that this subject has been covered, not sure where though.

Try searching this forum otherwise Wild Dogs or Adventure Rider. That is the best I can do. Try Acme in JHB for a good second hand one.

Hey Rene, thanks for the info. I do know the guys at ACME as that was where I got my GS, it was a code 3. Will try the other ones tho, thanks again :-)
