1200GS "longer" suspension
My bike - a 2004 model 1200GS
I would like to increase suspension travel and increase ground clearance. IS it possible?
My bike is in perfect condition and has done only 15000km. No real reason to sell it for , say a HP2 allthough I enjoy the rougher terrain more than open roads.
Your comments would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply - I will not do such a change without proper "consultation" with a dealer. I was hoping that someone on this forum had something simular done and can point out the pro's and cons based on personal experience. Maybe even do a one-on- one comparison between the standard and the "long travel"?
Anybody had this done?

Contact the guys at BMW V&A as Wayne has recently opened a suspension shop so I am sure they will be able to assit you.
