1200GS panniers and top box for sale
I am changing my hard luggage due to a pending Trans Africa trip starting in August. They are in very good condition (save for a few "character" marks
).
They are the original, expandable BMW panniers, complete with locks, and top box with BMW bracket and lock.
New price for panniers and locks: R8700. My price: R5000
New price for top bax, bracket and lock: R5600. My price: R3 300.
Now to try and load the pictures.......
Took me a long time to upload pics, and then my Cell C disconnected! rats!
I'll now play safe and do then one by one....

Charles, does this site 'auto shrink' the images received?
dtv, I'm new to the site but found image upload quick on both ADSL and 3G. I do shrink all images I want to upload to the web beforehand to less than 150k.
Your images is less than 60k each, should be fast on CellC
Search for 'Image resizer Powertoy' it is only 1Meg for WIN7 and 500k for XP. right click on image and select 'Resize Image' and then Size.

Yes, the site does autoshrink the images to the size displayed in posts (about 300pixels wide). However, it also has the original size, so that when you click the image in the post it shows you the larger version. That way your posts and images download quickly, and you only have to wait when you view the enlarged images.
Also, all the images on a page form a slideshow when you click on one to view the enlarged view. The forward and backward arrows on the image lightbox will let you scroll through the enlarged images.
For this reason, do not reduce the images to a very small size - scale them down to 1024 x 768 pixels and let the website do the rest. Also, when saving JPEG images, set the qality at between 70% and 80% - it gives you smaller filesize and no visible loss of quality.
