hi guys. i have a new 1200 gs adventure lc. awsome bike, its about 8 months old and has done about 5500 km. since new, every now and again the suspension drops by itself from (for example ) two helmets , down to zero. while stationary or when rideing.(its a bit scary when it does it cornering ) not on start up, but after a few km`s. the boffins at BMW say its normal.!!!! i cant believe that as its quiet dangerous . the dealership says they have a `few` like that, so im keen to hear if we are the only ones,or it happens to all of them. the guys at the dealership are realy great  and ALWAYS go the extra. just dont like the answers given by BMW to fob me off.

thanks for listening

even if you are exceptionally fat ((maybe I am)a bike that costs well over R200k it's unacceptable for the ESA to change on its own. Got a few mates with GSA LC never heard of any problems bar a puncture. Speak to the DP

I agree with Marc.

This certainly does not sound correct and it is your right to speak to the Dealer Principle at the BMW Dealership if you are not happy with the way an issue is being treated.

I am sure that your concerns will be attended to if you just follow the right steps.

I am happy to say that this issue is already receiving the attention of the dealer Principle at Donford Motorrad in Cape Town.
