Hi Bester I just bought an Adventure and it is said (no proof though)that the GS tank bag (made by BMW)does not fit PROPERLY. It is apparently too high but I think it is more a case of being too long or being too far forward, as this will interfear with the handle bar brace (cushion). I opted to take the sales persons suggestion and bought a GSA tank bag (made by BMW)and it fits perfectly. I must admit that in my excitement I did not consider fitting the GS one, just to find out for sure, but it is too late as it's just been sold. The GSA tank bag is a little shorter,(longer front strap) Flatter, but can be expanded slightly, and definately wider with the map pocket on top and a new zipped pouch on the inside of the lid (handy). Same colouring, GS logos and little removable "fanny pack". Oh! the price went up just a little from R2000 to R2200. Donald Own a GS and never run out of road.

Thanks Donald, I believe Frank bought your old tank bag. I wasn't aware that a different one is available for the GSA - will check it out as I cannot get a Touractech one (no stock)
