1150 GSA Sidestand Needed

The sidestand just broke on my 1150! 

(Don't ask ... when in doubt blame the pillion Sealed )

If by any remote chance someone broke their 1150 and all they have left is the sidestand, let me know please.

Will pay / swap / do anything legal in return!

Why not just get it welded and reinforced at the weak spot (for the pillions sake)? Wink

Ok that's what I've done.  Borrowed a friend's Tig welder, cut a re-inforcing plate and welded it all back together.  It had been worked on before so the bolt had to be drilled out (10mm countersunk with a 1mm pitch which is not a standard bolt), so waiting for a new one which is on order.

Glad I did the courses ...  I'm getting lots of practice getting off the bike and balancing it without a side stand Smile

In the meantime you can just ask Di to hold the bike while you have lunch, a beer, have a rest etc. etc.......Laughing
