The call centres have capacity, they also can patch you to conference and can patch you to the responding service.

There should not be any service issues.
When calling for an emergency, your outcomes are significantly better if you have base information with you and you stay on the line and answer the questions.
Your caller ID is visible.
Speak camly, slower than a panic and speak in shorter sentences.
do not gabble, the receiver needs to take note and has a battery of questions that help determine the response level and quality of response.
My understanding is that this is top quality service so I'd like your feedback.
From a cellphone you get put through to 112. This is a very time consuming centre, with pre-recorded warnings about abusing the service and that you can be prosecuted for misuse. Only then do you get an operator who insists on getting full details of the emergency before patching you through to the relevant service... who then need you to repeat all the details!
Very unsatisfactory in a true emergency and up to 5 minute wait to get to the right service!
112 is a mobile phone operator service.
And yes you are right.
The numbers I gave above are with systems that not only harvest your number case need you are a hoax/prank caller, they can also triangulate your position.
Stick to them, you will be fine.
Understand that whever you telephone for help will first establish your bone fide, then the emergency.
