WPMC All Bike Race Day

The All Bike Race Day is the only event in the year exclusively for Motorcycles and is undoubtedly the highlight for many riders. “Amateurs” are able to compete via a registration and MSA licencing process in place specifically for this event which attracts a far larger field than the regional race days. In addition the event is run along the lines of a biker’s festival with a variety of stalls and festivities for the entire family.

Traditionally the All Bike Race Day has been held on 16 December and in recent years drew approximately 100 competitors and 2000 spectators. This year it will be on 28 January to accommodate the Cape Town Bike Festival on 16 December. The new date is expected to increase the numbers of competitors and spectators alike as:

  • Many people have returned from holiday and are not all leaving Cape Town.
  • The Cape Town Bike Festival is an ideal promotional platform and have given us good exposure.
  • We have included a variety of extra attractions in this year’s line-up including a bicycle race and attractions for children and families to draw more spectators for a longer time.
