- I bought my first bike while living in Canada. I was pretty sad when I had to sell my bike when we moved back to SA and down to Cape Town (at the end of 2006).
After seeing how many unpaved roads there are to explore in this part of the world I knew my next bike must be able to handle the gravel as well as the tarred roads. Up until now I've never really ridden off-road - my previous bike was definitely a road model.
This is my first BMW, and actually my first new bike - my previous bike was quite an oldy. I'm really looking forward to explore this part of the world from the saddle.
