My name is Josver Maree. My first BM was a R1100RT, followed by a 1200RS, followed by a R1150GS, follwed by a 1200GT, follwed by a R1200GS followed by a R1200GS Adventure and another GSA and another GSA...... Just testing my memory catalogue. Somewhere there was a 650 GS and a 650 Dakar as well. I am an IT manager at Metropolitan. I only use my bike for Saturday or Sunday day trips with the occasional longer trip like Transkei, Lesotho, Baviaans etc. I like to travel light with the minimum lugage and prefer not to carry a pillion. Reasons being responsibility and adverse effect on bike handling and performance. I am now 61 and often wondered if I should retire biking while I am still in one piece. Tried it once before but went out of retirement after 2 weeks.
