A few weeks ago I had a little side-stand incident on the old Houw Hoek road, and managed to partially destroy my indestructible Barkbuster.  It had done its job but had been bent up against the brake lever, and due to a lack of tools and muscle, to bend it back was proving problematic!

So, on the advice of Ryan at Biketique, I took it to BMS in Bamboesvlei Road, Ottery for some remedial work.  I popped in there on Saturday morning and was helped by Jeremy, whose business is "Engineering etc."  They rent premises inside BMS.  Both he and his wife ride bikes so he was very willing to help.   

He looked at the problem and then took the piece and disappeared for a short while, came back and put it all back together - it fitted perfectly, 1st time. 

I think they can fix just about anything there.  We chatted about possibly making up a jig to produce spare parts for Barkbuster, if anyone else out there needs replacements get in contact as making up a couple would then be a viable option.
