Thursday the 4th till Sunday the 7th of February
This is not an easy trip, the distances for the day are fairly long and the terrain for the more skillfull rider!
The Baviaanskloof itself may be considered an easy route on the day, this trip was only done once before and very eventful but safe!
Have quite a few takers (all been on the first trip) already!

Day 1
Wellington to Calitzdorp via some interesting roads, passes and nature reserves. Leaving as always via Bainskloof. Staying at a place where you have to share the grass with springbok and zebra.

Day 2
Calitzdorp to Kareedouw, starting the day by taking a route that may remind you of the Scottish countryside and into the Great Karoo for some awesome views. Then into the Kouga wilderness for some superb riding. Kareedouw awaits us with a cold beer but the warm shower is only a tipi away.
Distance for the day 450 km
Day 3
Kareedouw into Baviaanskloof by using a private 4x4 route, real rough terrain and not for the inexperienced. Baviaans to Steytlerville via the Poort a valley adjacent to Baviaanskloof. Overnight with giraffes holding night watch.
Distance for the day 370 km
Day 4
Leaving early in the morning from the game lodge will see us making up good time on this home bound trip, Willowmore, Prince Albert, crossing the Dwyka and Buffels river, going to the Witte berge valley and onto the N1 for our customary parting beer at the wooden deck in Wellington.
Distance for the day 550 km.
Dont miss this one! Don’t get caught asleep!
