Grayton breakfast ride

The flying saucer clouds said, wind! For a lot of us the South Easter can be daunting, but when the North wind hit us on the return trip it made the South Easter seem tame. Teewaters Dam looked like the sea in a mini force ten gale.

i saw Gavin on his 1500 go into a sixty-degree lean as he exited the cutting ahead of me, but I still wasn't prepared as it swept me left and then right over the white line. Fortunately there was no oncoming traffic so I made a mental note to my Biker Guardian Angel to burn another tea light in her honor.

Later on the home stretch along the N2 I felt I was punching a hole through the head wind. I wandered how it would feel punching into the rain but it held out until after I got home. Another note to my BGA.

I rock climbed when I was sixteen. I had a veteran Alpine instructor and good, basic equipment, so I was well equipped and enjoyed it thoroughly, no fear, yet super careful as I was taught.

At 64, biking is the equivalent. I have an excellent motorbike. I wear full kit like all members do. And I feel riding in a group is teaching me a great deal. It's different from riding solo for sure.
