This month’s winner:  To be discussed under survey. 

Winners needs to be at the meeting to qualify to win.

  1. PAST RIDES AND EVENTS:

 

  • 7 April - Introduction to gravel roads day ride into the Overberg – GREYTON – Andy
  • Henk Smit was on the trip and gave a report
  • 10 April - MOTORCYCLE MOUNTED EVENT MARSHAL TRAINING -Andy
  • Harry Harris gave report on the training
  • 14 April 2019 breakfast ride – Geoff Rained out
  • 14 April 2019 breakfast ride – Magda checked but no riders due to rain
  • 19-22 April - Go GS Go Garden Route: BMW Motorrad Donford SBosch – Anne Marie this event was withdrawn not enough support.

 

  1. FUTURE RIDES AND EVENTS:

 

  • 28 April – BMWMCC Breakfast Run – Wouter gave a synopsis of the ride 
  • 4 May – 13th International Female Rider Day – Anne-Marie gave synopsis and history of ride.
  • This year 4thMay groups will be going from Cape Town and Tyger valley
  • 12 May – BMWMCC Breakfast Run – Rouen said he will mentor any new ride leader and was looking for sweep or leader to come on this ride and perform either function.
  • 26 May – BMWMCC Breakfast ride for new members – John Carr from Engen 1 stop 8 am

 

  • 9 June - Morning brunch beginners gravel ride Durbanville to Paarl – Andy more about that later

 

  1. Feedback

New committee members and positions -Wouter summarised the committee portfolios and thanked Garry van As for work done and announced his resignation.

Results of survey and ride report awards – Jacqui gave slide show and summaries the results, see accompanying PowerPoint.

Reward for trip reports?

There is agreement to continue with reward … Committee will define judging and how often and give feedback.

Name tags? We will start with hand written labels

Meeting to starting at 7.30pm from next month.… general agreement from members.
