Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

In the interest of improving rider / dealer relationships, it has been a vision of the BMW MRCCape to organise a fun day at one of the dealerships.  As this is a team effort of the BMW MRCCape committee and the Donford, Stellenbosch, team, we invite you to join for an interesting, informative, relaxed and funfilled morning.

The club gazebos and banners will be raised for a festive atmosphere. Footage of previous club activities and events, trips and tours.  The programme for the day will consist of the following:

- LEATT will supply 2 of the latest neckbraces for fitting, testing and display;

- CTek battery chargers ( Melt de Kock) will do an informative talk on improving battery life and maintaining battery strength.  Discuss reasons why battery looses its strength.  Latest high tech motorcycles rely on a strong battery;

- Donford clothing and helmets on display with specials on certain items for the day. Bikes will be on display as per norm;

- A Gymkhana track for 2 classes will be set up for the "brave" to enter.  John Carr will challenge u to test your skills on the track.  Prices made available for the winners in each category.  2 Classes: up to 800 cc and over 800 cc;

- Byron Coetsee will give a rundown of his GS Trophy 2016 experiences;

Thank you to  Donford Stellenbosch for sponsoring light snacks and drinks on the day.

Come along and have a fun day.  Bring your non-BMW rider friends, family, pillion and join your favourite club members/riding buddies, share some stories of past trips, discuss upcoming rides/training and dream of open roads, tight corners, scenic views.....Make Life a Ride.
