Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

We are planning an overnight ride to the Agterkliphoogte Valley near Robertson for the weekend of 26 to 27 January 2013. Warren and Natalie Ellwood will be your hosts for this weekend trip to one of the lesser known gems in the Western Cape and this off road ride will suit riders of all levels, in fact riders new to gravel and carrying all their own kit are most welcome.

Our destination is the farm Zevenfontein, situated in the Riviersonderend Mountains at the end of the Agterkliphoogte Valley and the plan is fairly simple; a shortish ride to the venue, set up camp and then you will have a choice of either relaxing around the camp and the magnificent  rock pools in the kloof or riding some of the 2x4 trails on the farm in fairly close vicinity to the camp site. There are also various play areas around the camp where you can spend some time renewing your skills after the Xmas break, so really just a fun afternoon of swimming, riding or just relaxing.
