Normal start to the procedings on a slightly chilly morning.
Do not feed the baboons
just left and legs already dead.
Out in the sun again just to wonder
is dit die Bree Rivier?
Leaving the vines behind
we entered the Karoo
waar ons eerste grondpad pas
ons verby die dam neem met Tertius se 'Pose'
Let the bells sound over the valley
and echo tver the road to nowhere.
Taking it easy with the blown front shock seal
Sain with the weekend luggage
want daar is maar min in die skaap wereld.
Photographer coming along to admire
the used and the mis-used and eventually
resting where there is no shade or shelter
so one must pee behind the only bush available.
Isle in the sky and then
man on the ground. Hein with another riding skills practice
We had to turn off to the Ouberg Pass
met slote na die reen wat dit aan fietse doen.
Begin van die
Ouberg Pas. Eers af
dan weer terug
om eers te stop en te kyk
voor ons finaal bo is. (Die maan was nogal mooi in die agtergrond)
Om dan REGTIG af te kyk
but I dont know if we did the road to the right?
Bike garage in Sutherland at the
frosty roof guesthouse.
I wanna cry 'cos I must go back by tar while
only in the Karoo can you get honesty like this.
Heading home to
the winelands in the Karoo.
Would I like to farm here
where Natalie got taped up?
The Donkeys stand guard over the
high speed roads (with no bones).
al staande Bainskloof deurgaan and
not forget to take some pictures before
we could see Table Mountain in the haze and to our
final stop at the roadworks.
To all who arranged this trip: ONS Sê BAIE BAIE DANKIE. We again had wonderfull weather, company, scenery on this trip.
Wees gegroet tot volgende keer.
