My name is Neels and I live in the Noordhoek area with my wife and 2 sons. I've been riding for a long time and has been on my 1150 for 1 year now. Will NEVER change this bike for anything else....... or maybe a 1200. Looking forward to some advice and good stories on this site!
Have been riding bikes for decades, anything and everything. I currently own a BMW GS1150, great bike for touring. I'm just a guy who enjoys riding a bike and not to concerned about the frills.
Hi - My name is Amadeus Geldenhuys. I'm a 54 year old biker from Pretoria and spend 3 - 5 hours per week on my 1150GS (2003). I do trips to Mpumalanga and Northern Province on a regular basis. I don't belong to a club but 6 of my Pta friends also owned 1150/1200/1200Adv and sometimes we do 80 - 100k offroad trips on Sundays.
I would love to do a round-trip - Pta, East Cape, Southern Cape, Western Cape up to Springbok and back to Pta via Upington
Hello, my name is Kersten Mosig and my wife Belinda. We Live in Capetown’s southern suburbs.
We use to enjoy adventure biking, but sold our bike when we started our family.
We had planned to start biking again when our boys where much older; however my wife was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemo. This reassessment in life as pushed forward our plan and desire to travel again and we just purchased a pre owned 1150GS.
We plan to start riding a few short day trips and as soon as Belinda is well again, we will do a few weekend rides.
We look forward in meeting other adventurous bikers.
